Biography

Faruk Acar is a founding partner at Acar Law&Consultancy with international experience in various legal fields. Prior to co-founding his own firm, he started his legal career at an international law firm in İstanbul and also served as Legal Counsel leading construction & real estate and energy companies of Turkey.

He obtained Law of Masters (LL.M) degree of International Business Law from the Queen Mary, University of London with his dissertation on Financial Assistance Prohibition in Joint Stock Companies. Currently, he is at dissertation stage of Europan Studies PhD programme of İzmir, Dokuz Eylul University where he focuses on international law, EU law, commercial law and the law of international organizations.

He mainly focuses on Mergers&Acquisitions, dispute resolution, international business law, commercial contracts, corporate law, construction and real estate law from deep academic and practice experience and perspective.
